CHRIS TIMONEY: WHATEVER HAPPENED TO TERRY BULB?

Lovable self confessed Northern Irish miserablist Chris Timoney brings about an hour’s worth of show to The
Camden Fringe 2015.

Chris Timoney has been performing stand-up for just under 6 years and is a regular M.C and act at three of
‘Jester Jesters’ nights that he co-runs in London.

His show ‘What ever happened to Terry Bulb?’ is a collection of absurdist monologues and worryingly catchy
songs with cynical and surreal observations thrown in. There is also a burlesque routine with an onion.
Basically its looking back and laughing at the worst week you’ve ever had. Singer songwriting gone wrong
with onions.

Falling back on 6 years of gigging, compering and extensive periods of time around the art world. It’s kind of
children’s entertainment for damaged adults. Like Jackanory or Watch with Mother for people who’ve had
their hearts ripped out or went to Art College… or both. Probably both.

‘Timoney’s ditties on the ukulele have the audience laughing in knowing recognition of common drunken
sentimentalities’
