We’ve got two very different but extremely glorious shows tonight. Featuring the hilarious Felicity Ward (Live at the BBC, Russell Howard’s Good News) and the adorable Christopher. An excellent Friday night guaranteed.
FELICITY WARD: 50% MORE LIKELY TO DIE
As seen on* The John Bishop Show, Live From The BBC, Russell Howard’s
Good News, Alan Davies’ As Yet Untitled* and Josh, and heard on The Museum of Curiosity. In 2015 Felicity wrote a show about mental illness and her bumhole (IBS). Much to her surprise more people saw it than her immediate family and a guy called Gavin. At the Edinburgh Festival Fringe it was the third-best reviewed comedy show. Always one to flog a dead horse, she has written another show about mental illness called: 50% More Likely to Die. This is that show.
ROB CARTER IS CHRISTOPHER
Christopher is a novelist; a passionate, committed and self-confident novelist. The only problem is he doesn’t quite know what a novel is.
Christopher was born and raised in Shropshire, and hasn’t seen much of the real world. He spent much of his childhood playing ‘I spy’ with himself, but now wants to take over the literary world with his eccentric novels. Join Christopher for an hour of story-telling, and find out what inspires him to write these novels. Sit back and relax with a slice of Soreen, and let him take you on a passionate, awe-inspiring and slightly misplaced journey. A loveable idiot with a smile on his face, Christopher is blissfully unaware of his narrative dead-ends, mis-quoted phrases and inconveniently-placed plot twists.
