MORON & HELL TO PLAY!

Wednesday 30th September. Time: 20:00 (doors open 19:30). Price: £4.00

A double whammy of Edinburgh shows from Alexander Bennett. His solo show ‘I Can Make You A Moron’ followed by late night dark game show set in hell ‘Hell to Play’.

**I CAN MAKE YOU A MORON**
Any intelligent person would despair at the world, so let me make you stupid for your own sake. If ignorance is bliss, then let this be the most blissful show on the Fringe. Ever seen how happy idiots are? You could be like that! Hail me, I can make you a moron. ‘Witty, weird and dark, the one to watch out for: at the spearhead of a wave of great new comics. ‘All hail Alexander Bennett!’ (Harry Hill). ‘Touched with madness…choice laughs…I don’t think I can begin to do him justice’ (Chortle.co.uk).

**HELL TO PLAY**
Game show set in Hell, hosted by the Devil. In exquisite bad taste, top guests every day. Devised by Alexander Bennett: *‘Touched with madness; refreshingly different’ (Chortle.co.uk)* and Paul Savage: *‘Genuinely brilliant’ (Guardian).* Featuring Joz Norris: *‘A born performer’ ★★★★(Chortle.co.uk),* Ali Brice: *‘Irrevocably changed by the horrors of war’ ★★★★ (Chortle.co.uk)* and Marny Godden.

SARAH BENNETTO/JONATHAN HEARN

SARAH BENNETTO & JONATHAN HEARN: DOUBLE BILL OF EDINBURGH FRINGE SHOWS!

Time: 19:30 (doors open 19:00). Tickets: FREE! (donations at the back).

Not one but two Edinburgh Fringe shows on tonight! Sarah Bennetto’s stand up and characters followed by Jonathan Hearn’s self-deprecating solo show.

**SARAH BENNETTO FRITTERS AWAY AN HOUR OF YOUR LIFE…MMM, FRITTERS**
A new stand-up and character solo show by the London-based Melbourne comedian and host of Storytellers’ Club. *‘Self-deprecating, dark, honest and genuinely funny. One of the most enjoyable and original shows I’ve seen this year. It had me laughing out loud more times than I could count. A solid hour of laughs, it culminates in a truly epic finale’ ★★★★.5 (Advertiser, Adelaide). ‘A sophisticated mix of stand-up and character comedy, Bennetto succeeds in harnessing the full power of an instinctive comedic mind’ ★★★★ (Fest, Edinburgh). ★★★★ (RipItUp.com.au).*

**JONATHAN HEARN: ALWAYS JON, NEVER JOFF**
Jonathan Hearn has been performing stand-up comedy for nearly 6 years. At the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe he performed his first solo show, and everyone who saw it smiled and laughed – one of them even said “It was better than the Marcus Brigstocke show we saw just before it”. This is even better.

*”plenty of charisma, and a glint of silliness” – Steve Bennett, Chortle

“Jonathan Hearn’s bricolage of comic fancies had me laughing from start to finish. One of the silliest, funniest, inventivest hours of nit-wittery I’ve seen.” – Trevor Lock

“Old-school meets weird school. Jonathan Hearn is hilarious.” – David Mills

“Hearn has an unconventional but intelligent style.” – Katie Chapman, Three Weeks

“Jon has a tightness and sleekness to his act. Carefully constructed jokes and unbreakable professionalism in any situation.” – Poppy Hillstead, The Proud Archivist

“Very clever wordplay.” – The LP Project

“87% of the time [his] hair looks amazing.” – Jen Wells*
